SWP has invested heavily in our testing facilities. We have various specialist test rigs to meet a variety of customer and technical requirements.
We can test using the following oils and substrate:
ISO 90 mineral oil
OX30
Skydrol
Several of our rigs are also PLC controlled where performance and product data can be gathered. We can recorded elements such as; stoke length, velocity, cushion speed. Our rigs can also run endurance tests and over capacity tests to ensure our hydraulic actuators leave our factory to the very highest quality standards.
SWP can also conduct water pressure testing. Many of our hydraulics actuators are designed for sub sea environments. Therefore, it is critical to understand before dispatch that the cylinder does not leek or loose pressure from external to internal chambers. Our dedicated bariatric chamber allows is to test our products up to a sustained 100 bar of pressure.
